Penguin Damage Control
I made a really silly error in my latest Threadless design, "Catch of the Day." The following is a blog I posted on Threadless intended to rectify the situation...
Penguin Controversy
My latest submission, "Catch of the Day," has sparked outrage among many in the Threadless community due to my inclusion of a penguin. Penguins, they say, live exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere. Not in the Northern Hemisphere, where my design takes place.
Well, that all changes today.

I'd like you all to meet Akiak. Akiak is a young, male fairy penguin that I purchased on the black market on the night of Christmas Eve. "Akiak" is an eskimo name which means, "brave." I decided that Akiak would be a fitting name for this little fellow, for you see, Akiak is about to embark on an incredible journey.
In a matter of seven days, provided that Akiak survives, he will be introduced to to his new home in the Northern hemisphere, alongside an authentic, Inuit eskimo family. Once we reach the icy shores and I bid farewell to Akiak, my inaccurate illustration will instantly gain validity.
I am currently blogging aboard a Russian oil tanker headed to the Northwest arctic region of Alaska. I just fed Akiak a peanut butter and fluff sandwich and he seemed to enjoy it. At any rate, you can show my little buddy Akiak that you care about him by clicking the link below and voting 5$

Thank you.
